EIKONIC FIND

I came across these oxford wedges while doing some shopping on an  online boutique and thought they definitely deserve the attention. Again, this is what fashion is about...innovation! I've seen lace oxford pumps, but never wedges, especially ones like these. Different, I must say. What do you think?

AFRICAN SWAG REPRESENTED

I am honored to attend the 1st Annual African Angelz Fashion Show in Sacramento, and looking forward to many more as this one was a major success. This show represented beauty, elegance, creativity, and sass; all through the eyes of my native African designers and models.  So what is African fashion all about? Let's start with the exhubberance of bright colors and pattern mix, tailored to fit each individual's swag (personality). That is what differentiates African fashion from the rest of the world. Each style was tailored specifically to each model's body type, unlike mainstream fashion shows that take place in New York, Milan, and London. These looks aren't ones you can purchase at Macy's or bloomingdales. If you are ever interested in an African design, you will be fitted and your style will be tailored to your own uniqueness.
Although the models did a phenomenal job gracing the run way with their spunk, the designers were responsible for bringing each style to life as they envisioned. These styles were to die for! Each designer (Theresa Nartey from Teeza Creation, Edgingtine Harmon from Edgingtinie Model Management Agency, Kim Greene-Gray, "The Stitch Witch" aka the "Lady of Fashion," and the youngest designer at the age of 21, Crystal Anderson) did an amazing job showcasing their work by transforming cultural looks to that of varied western influence with today's fashion trends. Amazing designers like these are responsible for the SWAG that is gracefully worn and represented by clients like us.
Job well done to the organizer of the 1st Annual African Angelz Fashion Show: Mr. Radcliff Mongbeh; the phenomenal African models representing beauty, elegance, and grace; and the amazing designers who continue to shine light on African fashion, especially in the western world!
